3. Different plane

RECAP- Before anyone can object to it, Elina slowly moved towards the door and opened it. A bright light blinded them all.

Fareen- "that's a sky?"

Shrana- "Are we in heaven?"

Adeema- "parallel universe"

The blinding light filled the washroom but at one point, the light disappeared everything around and it seemed that they were standing at the centre of nothing but light. As their eyes adjusted or maybe the light just got less bright, they saw that they were in a completely different world. The sky was cloudlessly white and the ground was of dark rainbow colors.
It did not seem like a fairytale ground. Suddenly the soothing voice returned but this time, the voice was coming from a vague figure which was floating.

"You are chosen. You are special. I know there are millions of questions in your mind now. That's okay, I will answer them. You must be thinking how you reached here. How a known door transported you to an unknown world. You are chosen because you have the knowledge of science, the real science and you believe in everything that exists beyond humans which usually after growing up people don't. Only a few chosen people can enter this world. Don't think that this is a different world because it's not. It is where you live but just a different plane. There are lots of worlds which even I might not know about, but they exist in different planes. We had what you had. You made soil, we made it beautiful. Look around...Do you know you are standing on iron? Like you put cement, we put this! Don't be scared! You have a long journey to go!"

Everyone was standing still as if hypnotized unable to understand many things but not having the guts to ask. Finally, Makita asked.

"What...Exactly are we chosen for?"

"You are chosen for passing on the knowledge of ourselves. Many people moreover scientists tried to tell your world about us but their knowledge just remained as a theory. And we also need you to maintain other planes. Humans know about spirits, they are in the different plane. Fairies, they are also on a different plane. We have to maintain them. I am from the realm of spirits, the positive spirit. This place has beings from many planes and you might become a part of us. Now we have really less time. You people have to go now but I will get you people back. Get ready for your examination which would decide if you would be allowed in our world or not"

Adeema- "please tell me one thing! How did we come to a different plane?"

She gave a sweet smile and said

"You will know today only, Just remember that studying textbooks can help sometimes...and not every scientist were mad."

The lights grew again and everyone covered their eyes and they reached to that point of time when Elina was going to open the door.

Elina opened the door mechanically and saw their corridor stretching in front of them. Elina turned to look at everyone. Everyone had rainbow expressions.

Shrana- "Did it actually happen?"

Adeema- “yes...And I have to find how we reached there!"

The school bell rang and they all went to their respective places.

Shrana went to her Nature club, Adeema went to play basketball, Elina and Fareen joined the assembly and Muktika went for the swimming practice.

All of them had lots of thoughts in their mind like, how did they reach there? What was the positive spirit talking about examination? Did the time stop on earth? Are they going to have superpowers? But they knew that they are not going to get the answers until time permits.
